Catherina "Cat" Watters has successfully represented and counseled hundreds of former NFL players who have left the game with permanent injury and disability. Some are not only unable to continue playing football, but are left without the ability to work in any form of employment due to the severity of their injuries. Helping her clients and their families attain well-deserved medical benefits and monetary awards is her greatest reward.
It hits close to home as Cat herself is married to a former NFL player and therefore had a front-row seat to witness all the brutal hits and concussions before they were even called concussions. Cat not only handles NFL disability and NFL Concussion Settlement claims, but advises on workers compensation and SSDI claims. She also serves as a resource for transitioning into second careers and assists in reviewing business contracts and vetting business opportunities. Her ability to understand her clients' needs coupled with her high level of confidentiality and commitment are why her clients remain "life-long".
Cat received her J.D. from New York Law School and her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University. She is a member of the California and Florida Bar Associations.
