Mark Green Running Back - University of Notre Dame

All the student-athletes from the University of Notre Dame that I've met are extremely intelligent and business savvy. Mark Green is no exception. He achieved a successful post-NFL career leading corporate diversity initiatives for Fortune 500 companies when Chief People Officers were still in the making. Mark was Ricky's host (and future teammate) during his recruiting trip at Notre Dame. He's a prime example of "I AM MORE THAN AN ATHLETE."

Here are some additional stats I learned after our visit to the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame in Mark's hometown of Riverside, CA:

• All-CIF on championship team at Polytechnic HS (1984)
  National Championship team University of Notre Dame (1988)
  5th round selection in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears

• Chicago Bears (1989-1992)
  Served as Chairperson for the NFL Players Association Scholarship Program

• Inducted into the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame (2011)
